They are made from food grade coloring suspended in stearic acid.

 These dyes chips can be used for both soap making and for wax and gel use. Each dye chip can color approximately 1-2 pounds of wax or gel, or 4 pounds of soap. Easy to use....just drop in and melt with your soap.
