This product has a richer color, better throw, less weeping, less frosting, and better burn than other soy waxes on the market. As the skin ages it becomes dry and porous. Soy helps hold in natural moisture while softening dry, chaffed and damaged skin. This makes Soy Wax is a perfect for skin care formulations. Suggested Use Level in cosmetics: Lotions & Creams 1-10%, Lip Products 2% and Increase as Desired.
Melt Point 120º. Pour temp 125-155º. Cases weigh about 50#pounds each.
Directions For Body Care Products: use as recipe directs. For Candles: carefully preheat glass containers to 125°F - 145°F (allows better wax adhesion to glass). In a double boiler, melt wax to 125°F - 145°F. While wax is melting, adhere a HTP or RRD wick to the container). Once the wax has melted, add proper amount of candle dye and 6-8% fragrance. Stir thoroughly and pour immediately. Let candle cool slowly (do not place in refrigerator).
Note Different wicks may be needed depending on the combination of dye, fragrance, and size of the container.
