Light base that absorbs quickly and easily into skin. Aloe & Cucumber helps heal dry skin. Leaves skin soft and smooth! Contains aloe vera. Lotion is opaque and odorless........Absorbs quickly into the skin! This lotion base contains Aloe Vera, Cucumber Extract, Sunflower Oil and Allantoin. Aloe has long been considered to be moisturizing and healing. Cucumber is a natural source for photolytic enzymes, Vitamin B1 and Vitamin C - all of which help skin problems such as pimples, black heads, wrinkles, and dryness. Sunflower oil is rich in Vitamin E and helps moisturize the skin. Allantoin stimulates growth of healthy tissue while making skin softer.CONTAINS NO MINERAL OIL
Supplied in 1 gallon pails. Easily thins on low heat. Safe to microwave.
Directions Add .5-1% fragrance (0.5% = 1/2 teaspoon per 16 ounces of base). If desire - then add your cosmetic (water based) color. Then pour into bottles. Heating the base will let you incorporate (mix) the fragrance better and makes for easier pouring (but do not boil). Cool product with the top off the bottle to prevent condensation. Product will rethicken upon cooling. Each fragrance reacts differently in the base. Test your formulas to ensure the desired results.
Notes: If your lotion does not remain white when you rub it into your skin then you have used too much color. If product significantly thins you have used too much fragrance. If the lotion is too thick after you add your fragrance, you can add distilled water to the base to make it thinner, if you add more than 8 ounces of distilled water per gallon you need add a preservative.
