All Natural Lip Gloss - Soft & Gooey

A soft, lip base - perfect for lip gloss. - THIS IS PERFECT FOR DIP Tubes (very gooey)- read below on dip tubes tips.
Identical to the ingredients of the lip balm. However, there is the inclusion of a hydrolyzed castor bean glossing component, similar to the effect of silicone. This gloss will add a shimmering highlight, however, its does not last as long as silicones, but it's naturally derived and edible. This lip gloss is fairly firm and not fluid enough for bottle and wand type applicators. (Look below on tips to make it more of a liquid gloss)
This natural base offers exceptional protection to your lips. Formulated on soy beans, waxes and oils, this product is low in linoleum acid and rich in vitamin E, making it very stable to oxidation. The hemp oil contains additional vitamins, minerals and Omega 3 & 6, capable of restorative properties. An exceptional product. NOT FOR "CHAPSTICK" TYPE CONTAINERS
Directions In a pyrex glass cup, microwave base and add 3% flavor fragrance. Add cosmetic oil based color. Pour into container.
Note Product will rethicken upon cooling. Each flavor fragrance will react differently in the base.
Ingredients: Soy Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Capric/Capryllic Triglycerides, Natural Beeswax, Canibis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Limanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Castor Isostearate Succinate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Tocopheryl (Vitamin E).
Lip Balm Products- Melt the lip base in a Pyrex cup in the microwave. Use a low heat and check often....it melts very, very quickly. Add 1 tablespoon of flavor fragrance per 16 ounces of base.....or 1 1/2 teaspoons per 8 ounces....or 3/4 teaspoon per 4 ounces of base. You can then add the powdered colors for lip products or leave it "natural" color. Pour into you lip tubes and let it harden.
TIP: Lip Balm Tip! Gather a handful of lip balm tubes together, securing with a rubber band. Then pour your balm slowly into the tubes. I find that using a small measuring cup with a pouring lip works best. You can get quite a few filled quickly. I save the big rubber bands from my newspapers
Lip Gloss Tubes Tip: When your base is in its liquid form (when melted) add a base oil to the base to make it more of a liquid gloss rather than a gooey gloss. Base oils: Sweet almond oil, Meadowfoam oil, castor oil or olive oil add as desired. |
