Our Crafter’s Choice Basic Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base has a beautiful, creamy lather. It is very clear and has a very low odor that does not compete with fragrance. Customers love the low water content because it means less and easy unmolding. This base is considered to be a low sweat in average weather conditions.
This soap is formulated with artificial additives which improve the soap’s ability to attract dirt, produce “big bubble” lather, and completely rinse off of the skin/tub. Further, these additives improve the soap’s ability to be artistically crafted.

Block of soap measures 13 x 11.5 x 6 inches.
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.
