Emulsified Base for Scrubs makes it easy to create creamy, exfoliating
scrubs. Just add your exfoliant, fragrance, and color. Formulated with
skin-loving ingredients like Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Shea Butter, and
Vitamin E.

Directions:
Remove desired amount of Emulsified Base for Scrubs and add to
mixing bowl. Whip using a hand mixer for 30 seconds. (This can also be
used without whipping.) Add exfoliant* of choice, fragrance, and color.
Blend well. This base has been formulated to hold 70% of an exfoliant*.
For example, to make a 16 oz. batch: mix 4.8 oz. of Emulsifed Scrub Base
(30%) with 11.2 oz. of desired exfoliant (70%). We recommend using up
to 1% fragrance oil.
*We found sugars and salts work very well in
this base. If you find the recommended amount (70%) is not quite
enough, a little more can be added to make it thicker. If using any type
of seeds in this base, we recommend adding a small amount at a time
until the desired scrubby feel is reached.
