This mold is made of CLEAR polycarbonate plastic. Using plastic will increase the shine of the candle and allow you to make a brand new votive. These new cups are 45mm (50mm with special pedestals lip) in height and 40 mm diameter at the top. The cup has a fitting just perfect for a 15 mm base. These cups can also be used as a holder for your candles.

This votive cup is larger than the standard votive and will allow you to make votives that will burn for over 10 hours. The polycarbonate mold will also allow you to make candles with a glossier finish than you can with metal molds. If you have ever poured into plastic, you can see the remarkable difference in shine that you do get.

Try some of our Polycarbonate pedestal cups/molds! These cups are great for samples! Our polycarbonate pedestal cups were designed with special pedestals on the bottom of them to help prevent counter surfaces from getting too hot. Polycarbonate allows votives to set up faster, and provides a glossier finish than metal molds. You can use these as attractive tea light holders, or as molds. Spray molds with Pam cooking spray to help wax release.

Unhappy

I bought 40 of them and have no use for them. The main picture you provide is NOT the cup received. The cup I thought I was buying is what's in your main picture. Very unhappy. The cups in the main picture are the 3oz votive cup, smokey or clear and have a slight pedistal bottom. The cups that were actually sent are of good quality but they are smaller and tip easily and I have no use for them. This was my first purchase on the site and I don't think I will be back. Please do not click bait buyers with pictures of items you don't have.
