Squalane is a saturated oil that can function as a natural emollient for the skin
Squalane is often used in moisturizers to help increase hydration and is thought to improve skin texture and appearance.
Squalane has strong compatibility with many commonly used cosmetic ingredients, such as fragrance oils.
squalane oil derived from olive oil is widely used throughout the personal care and cosmetic industries as a vegan-friendly and vegan-focused skincare additive, sought after for its emollient and moisturizing properties. This raw material is produced from squalene, an organic compound naturally found in olive oil.
An organic compound, not to be confused with an organic certified material, is a compound naturally containing carbon-hydrogen bonds. After squalene goes through a process of hydrogenation, the byproduct is Squalane, a more stable ingredient and a naturally occurring component of human sebum.
Short Term Storage:
Air tight container. Dark location. Cool room temperature.
Long Term Storage:
Removing air from storage container will delay oxidation and rancidity (may need to place in a smaller container). Refrigeration can extend shelf life.

One year from date of purchase.

One year from manufacturing date.
Directions:
We recommend starting with 2% in lotion bases and testing for optimal performance. Use up to 2-to-1 ratio with other carrier oils, such as argan oil.
