FOR MP SOAP ONLY (reduces browning of vanilla in FO's). Sold by Weight. Fragrances that contain vanilla can discolor Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap. The color change may occur within days, weeks or months. The stabilizer only prevents color change due to vanilla, vanillin, and ethyl vanillin. Some soaps made with fragrances containing a very high level of vanilla may turn ivory but will not turn brown.Directions Just prior to making mp soap, mix 1/2 ounce of vanilla color stabilizer and 1/2 ounce of fragrance oil. Mix thoroughly and immediately. Add modified fragrance to 1 pound of mp soap.Note: Stabilizer will begin to solidify at temperatures below 68F. If this happens it is okay, just heat the stabilizer by placing in warm water and shake well. Modified fragrances made with the stabilizer will not work in cold process soap. The modified fragrance should not be used in lotions because it can significantly change the aroma of the lotion....this does not happen with mp soap. DO NOT USE IN CANDLES!
